Nasca Lines Flight: Tips Before You Fly

·

The Spider geoglyph at the Nasca Lines

A flight is the best way to see figures like the Monkey, the Hummingbird, the Spider and the Astronaut. These tips will help you enjoy it.

Before the flight

  • Bring your valid national ID (DNI) or passport: it’s required to board.
  • Eat a light breakfast and avoid heavy meals.
  • Keep in mind that the flight time is approximate and depends on flight scheduling and the weather.

During the flight

Follow the instructions of the pilot, who tilts the plane to each side so everyone can see the figures. Have your camera ready, but also take a moment to simply look without a screen.

Afterward

Round out the experience by visiting the Chauchilla Cemetery and the Cantalloc Aqueducts, a Nasca hydraulic work that is still in operation.
